About Me
I’m 15
I think that the way I speak compared with my birthdate would tell you a lot about me as a person. I enjoy talking to adults as much as I do children – they’re just as interesting, and have more power, and I am allergic to text speak. Even the slightest glimmer will have me up in boils in seconds, although I luckily recover quickly and without too much hassle.
I go to school in England, the home of Football, Winston Churchill, and teenage pregnancy, and would like to leave it as soon as possible. I am very very attached to the rolling hills, and green forests, but the cities and schools would be enough to put off even the most enthusiastic tourist.
The sea is very important to me, and I am happiest on St. Agnes, a small island on the small clutch of islands – The Scilly Isles. We’ve only visited it twice, but each time I’ve spent long days sitting on rocks on Castella Down (google it…I think,) and swimming in the cool sea. We paddled our canoe out into the middle of the bay once, and were heading back for tea when a squall broke out, and we were against the current. We took it in turns to paddle back, while the others kept their heads down, and eventually made it back to the tent for bacon sandwiches cooked on a tiny gas stove.
Childhood Naivety is better than it looks. The ability to see a clear, uninterrupted view on things is a prize I treasure more than anything else.
And this will be updated, maybe as spring comes, and my mood changes, or maybe as I spot another punctuation error in it. And now I need to go, because in starting the internet router to write this, I somehow disconnected the phone. I’ve got an awful lot of explaining to do…
